Clean Water Mobile Learning Center

Clean Water Mobile Learning Center

Ready to roll into any school, the Wyland Clean Water Mobile Learning Center provides an innovative solution for schools that need an affordable way to increase student knowledge of the function of watersheds and a broader understanding of the impact that communities have on these systems and our ocean.

Upon entering the mobile learning center, students become new recruits to the Clean Water Challenge (CWC) Task Force. Their mission: To solve mysterious disturbances in the health of our nation’s water habitats via a 4D theater experience and hands-on science activities. The mobile learning center aligns with the Wyland Foundation’s “Clean Water for the 21st Century” classroom and Newspaper in Education programs.

Since Fall 2007, the Wyland Clean Water Mobile Learning Center has visited schools, communities, and local events across North America. Visit the events page to see where the Mobile Learning Center has been.

The mobile classroom provides a tremendous opportunity for students, teachers, administrators and the community to learn about conserving and valuing our precious water resources.
